With whom do we cooperate?

It is SOF-DI’s objective to assist as many people as possible in self-help projects using the available resources and keeping the expenses low. With this in mind SOF-DI aims at tapping the existing local infrastructures (local organizations, NGOs) as well as accessing available studies and public services of government ministries.

SOF-DI cooperates with the following organizations:

SOF-DI Buyangu centre has recently been chosen by the web-based learning organisation INFONET-BIOVISION as the centre for their activities in the Western Province. The collaboration between SOF-DI and the ecological development foundation´s e-learning service will enable farmers in the area to benefit from additional extensive knowledge through on-line learning, as well as attract more participants in SOF-DI´s projects through publicity in the Infonet publication “The Organic Farmer”. The magazine has reported increasing demand among farmers for information about organic farming.

As a matter of policy, SOF-DI employs only Kenyan staff, in recognition that Kenya is a source of well-trained people with good social skills..
